  1. There are some good answers already, so I won't repeat what they've already said; but I'd add that in most cases, if you want to do an online school it will be acceptable regardless of where it is accredited. The same accreditation organizations offer accreditation in multiple states, so they must meet the same criteria, and most states will allow a parent to "send" their kids to an out of state school to fulfill education requirements.


  2. That is the neat thing about online education--it exists anywhere there is a computer with an Internet connection.  All the major online schools have bases in TN.  Here is a link that shows seven of them.

  3. What level of education are you talking? High school? College?

    According to this http://www.wdef.com/news/virtual_school/... , it sounds like individual school districts may be responsible for setting up virtual schools. Try your school district.
