  1. An organization like that wouldn't be *helping* orphans.  In day-to-day practice, how would that be any different from an orphanage?  Either way, the kids end up with caretakers instead of parents and shelters instead of homes.  At least while they remain in the orphanage, the kids still have some hope (however small) of getting a family and a home someday.  If the organization itself adopts them, then that's the end of the line -- no parents, no home, no love from a family.  Just food, water, shelter, and protection, and no hope of anything more.

  2. not that I've HEARD OF.

  3. If a child is adopted, they are no longer considered an "orphan".  I'm not sure that I fully understand the question.  I'm sorry that I couldn't be of more assistance.

  4. There are many agencies, churches, individuals who "sponsor" a child in an orphanage, and some may sponsor the entire orphanage.  But the children remain at the orphanage.

There are also many unethical orphanages that take all the donated supplies, food, clothing, etc., and the staff take it all home!  God's truth!

  5. I'd love to start something like that, but at this time, my husband is limiting me to an amount of children who would fit comfortably in a 3 1/2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo.

  6. If there were and organization that adopted all orphans, then there wouldn't be any orphans today.

Did you perhaps misphrase your question?
