I had restless leg for years and I went to a chiropractor.  He adjusted my lower back and as long as I kept it in alignment it didn't come back.

There are no over the counter medications for RLS as far as I know. There are interventions you may try or vitamin supplements if you have a certain deficiency. The only FDA-approved medication for RLS is Mirapex. Try the link below for the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke.
