My daughter is 16 and has Cerebral Palsy and is confined to a wheelchair. I was wondering if there's an insurance to cover her in case she accidentally runs over a students foot and causes injury.

  1. Yes.  Your homeowners policy, has built in liability.  It includes liability for your household members, who are using assistance devices.

Check with your agent, or read the fine print on your policy, but it's built into the standard homeowners policy.

Or renter's policy, if you don't own your home.

  3. Not likely that would happen.  If your worried about liability then take out a homeowners or renters insurance policy and an umbrella policy.

But unless your rich, you probly do not need those policies to protect you.   I won't worry about it unless you have assets to protect.

    See your insurance agent.
