Question:

Is there another name for gold leaf/organic designs? Any tips on how to make them?

I really like the look of the gold leaf/organic designs that people put behind their main work (often a crest of some sort, or another logo). But I can't figure out another name for it or find somewhere that has an explanation of how to design them myself. Help, please?

Those are the best examples I could find.

  1. Those sort of designs are a baroque patterns or baroque vectors most people draw them on a program called Adobe Illustrator there are some good tutorials on how to do them,

here is a link to one tutorial on how to draw them with Adobe Illustrator,  http://graphics-illustrations.com/2007/1...

I couldn't find any tutorials to draw them freehand, if you want to do them that way then I think you would just have to draw them from imagination. Hope this helped you,

  2. Mayeb more rococo than baroque, I feel.
