Is there another phrase for the term "human-like"?

I'm writing a reflection paper for a class. there is a sentence I dont like where i make a reference to a primate that exhibits "human-like" features.

i've looked in a thesarus and other resources but cannot find anything different.

does anyone have an other constructive ideas?
