Is there another wireless adapter for the 360 besides the 99$ one?

Wireless stinks, my cousin has it and always losses connection...

Theres a third party one for like 40$ i think its mad catz or something you can find it.

Nope, that's your only option. Don't trust the third party brands, they're always garbage.

Do you have a wireless router? You don't need to have a wireless adapter to go on xbox live, you can plug your xbox directly into the router and this actually works better.
