I am wanting to buy some British food this summer to try it since I don't have any British food stores/restaurants close to me, but I don't have a regular credit card to just go and buy anything. So, does anyone know of any good British food/grocery stores that will take money orders and/or pre-paid visa/mastercards as a payment option??

  1. I guess that prepay is the same as ordinary credit card as long as it's a valid visa or mastercard with sufficient money on it and the British website can validate and authorise a foreign card (I'm assuming that you're not in the UK)

I doubt they'll take money orders.

One way to do it is to buy via Ebay and Paypal assuming Paypal will accept your prepay card.

Just check delivery costs whichever you order from as they may be expensive delivered to your home address. Try Marks and Spencer, Sainsburys, Tescos, upmarket would be Harrods, Selfridges, Fortnum and Mason.

    Here's a link to investigate

  2. StateSide  Candy Co, do some british food, they are mainly for American food but they do recently British food as well.

  3. no way

  4. Have you tried Tescos?    They have a website that you can go into and order groveries on line.   I have done it and they are excellent....saves hanging around the store if you dont have the time. There is a delivery charge which varies from day to day...from £3 to £6 towards the end of the week.
