Question:

Is there any CREDIBLE support for the law of attraction?

Meaning, anytime I hear anyone with anything they claim supports the Law of Attraction, there's always someone saying "more New Age nonsense" or "they're misinterpreting/twisting scientific principles" or "that's just anecdotal and it can't be proven."

Are there examples of evidence for the Law of Attraction that nay-sayers don't have such an easy time dismissing? Evidence that comes from people whose credibility isn't so easily attacked?

Serious answers only please, either supporters or nay-sayers, just have serious answers to contribute.

  1. No.  There is no 'law of attraction'.  They just made it up to sell their book.  Anyone who invokes quantum mechanics or string theory to explain something is 9 times out of 10 just making it up.  Next time, ask them to write you the wave equation if it can be explained using QM.  Or which particle discovery would prove it if it were ST.

Basically, if you want something, go out and get it.  If sitting on the couch and wishing things were different worked, no one would ever bother working at all.

  2. The Law of Attraction DOES exist.  But there's a lot more to it than "like attracts like" or wishful thinking.

Someday there may be "scientific" evidence of its existence - but there are way too many variables involved right now for science to measure.

Just imagine all of the elements that the universe has to coordinate for the common example of getting a good parking space.  And all with out interfering with anyone else's manifestation.

The best way to prove the Law of Attraction is for yourself.  Keep in mind that there are several elements to the process:

C - Choose what it is that you want

    A-   Anticipate it occurring

L -  Listen to your intuition

    L -  Look for opportunity

E - Expect it to happen

D - Do what you need to do

So clearly it's not a "magical" process.  The most "mystical' part of the process is the vibes you're putting out there.  Those vibes include your attitude, any limiting beliefs that you have, if you believe it's possible and if you trust your intuition to follow the leads that come your way.

Those vibes are one of the reasons people think it doesn't work - they have internal limitations that create self-fulfilling prophecies that don't come true.

That's why you can't judge based on what you see  happen in other people's lives.  You can't know what's going on inside someone else.  Iff your vibes are unconscious it may seem as if you the Law doesn't work for you.

Fortunately there are new technologies available to release unconscious and self-limiting beliefs,
