Is there any Casette player model available which can directly convert to MP3 on USB

  1. No matter what you end up with, you will still need to play the cassette in REAL TIME and record it to another source.  I would record it at at least CD quality (44.1kHz, 16-Bit) and then convert it to whatever MP3 file type you'd like.  

    Since the cassette is "analog" magnetic tape, it must be played back in real time.  You may be able to find something that will play it fast and then slow it down, but I don't think I would do that as there is probably a greater chance of the degredation of sound quality.

    You can buy a program like Samplitude and I know you can record straight into the program from your sound card, or interface, and then you can edit what you've recorded, put in start and stop times for each track, and tell it where you want each track to begin on a CD if you'd like.


  2. yes you can buy a casette player which converts MP3 or your normal electronic Ipod music to magnetic tape music in the casette player. Iam not sure if its avaialbe in india you  need to search ebay to order it..
