  1. I always had a hard time putting them on.

They used to move around my eye.

Oh yeah and umm it went on the top of my eyeball once, my friend had to take it out for me .

Can anyone please help with my question?

  2. If you put em in the wrong way, they can scratch your cornea.:(

    Edit:

They can scratch your cornea, ignorant! Maybe if it happened to you you'd know!

  3. Hmmm..I don't know why the person before me said if you put them in wrong they can scratch your cornea...because I've been wearing contacts for ten years, and never look at the way I put them in and have never had a problem. My doctor said it didn't really matter.

Now, if something is ON them, that's a completely different story.

The only con may be swimming- you can't open your eyes under water with them on.

Personally, for me, the pro's totally outweigh ANY cons...you don't have to worry about your peripheral vision with contacts in (in glasses you can't see as well if you're not aimed in that direction) don't have to worry about the contacts steaming up like glasses do...etc....

*Edit* I'm not sure why everyone is including horror stories of their brothers sisters aunt losing their contacts in their eyes... this *doesn't* happen...here is an answer where an OPTICIAN states that.

(A contact can not roll to the back of your eye and get stuck there (that is one of my favorite optical myths) but it can get folded and get stuck in the corner of your eye or up under your eyelid.

If this happens, the best thing to do is pour some contact lens solution or re-wetting drops in your eye and let them soak in for a minute. Then slowly and gently massage the contact down to where you can grab it with your eyes closed. Don't rub your eye and don't panic!)

  4. ya they dry up and they hurt and taking them in and out can be challenging and if you have astigmatism it rly sux till u get special ones

  5. My friend's went behind her eye! They had to remove it at the ER I think!

    mine?

  6. They are amazing! You feel so much freer and its so much better for exercising and doing other things! I love them sooo much...oh and if you put them in the wrong way they dont scratch your cornea like the other person said. I have no clue where they got their info but its not true. Also contacts cant go behind your eye. The muscle blocks it, yes they can go up and get caught in your eye lid, but you can easily take them out. Also yes its hard to put them in at first but after you get used to it its really easy. Also your contact cant get lost in your eye! Idk y so many ppl are complaining about them! If they are dry or scratchy get a different brand of contacts or soloution. I have Acuview (or how ever you spell it). Also i have an astigmatism in my left eye and my contacts work fine! They dont move around at all.

  7. Contacts aren't usually as strong as glasses and after a while they itch but I like them better than glasses for sure.

You have to be really dumb to either scratch your eyeball with them... they are very soft

  8. i have had them for about 3 years now

    and i really like them.

get daily soft contacts they are super easy and if you lose a pair it is no big deal.

sometimes your eyes get dry but if you use eye drops its totally fine

  9. Well I wear glasses and I want contacts too but when my mom was wearing her contacts she couldn't find one of her contacts and she found it and was lost in her eye. So I'm not sure if I want contacts now. But I want to keep my glasses cause I look smarter.
