I mean, other than that Bush seems determined to turn the entire world against the US. I do not consider that a GOOD reason.

  1. I don't think there's any good reason for the US to get involved in every little conflict that the world has. It seems that the government thinks that they must take it upon themselves and restore order, when it only makes matters worse.

  2. It is becasue Bush loves the war..

  3. There are plenty of GOOD reasons for the U.S.A to get involved. Russia is a bully nation, Russia is what the rest of the world thinks the U.S.A is. A BULLY! Russia is doing this to Georgia to see what the U.S.A will do about it. Putin is a murderer and he is just proving his nation power. If we do not get involved, Georgia will get crushed.

The U.S.A is the only Nation in the world that can stop Russia but, people like you who just watch the T.V and think you know what is going on will make this country a sissy nation. We have a DUTY to protect the smaller natons of the world, if we dont, who will?

  4. There is no good reason except that we would be sticking our nose YET AGAIN somewhere it doesn't belong! Oh wait aren't Georgian's terrorists?!?!!! lol

  5. no, the USA needs to stop getting involved in everything and stop trying to control what other countries do, were gonna p**s Russia off so bad its gonna start a second Cold War or something

  6. I think it's great that we care about other countries (I don't see anyone else stepping up) but the timing couldn't be worse for us.

  7. us has become a super power and if we ignore all democracies will go amuck. this has nothing to do with your friend bush

  8. It's all about the size of their cannons.

Clever analogy Lincoln! Right on the money.  And they ooo'ed and they aah'ed.

  9. Nope.  Bush's Idiocracy made Georgia think we'd rush to their aid if they invaded those provinces.  Notice how that worked out.

  10. Bush is a puppet. McCain is a puppet. They are one and the same controlled by the same people.

    McBush!

Obama is not evil. He is simply very misled. But he is the lesser evil!

  11. None.  Zip.  Zero.  This isn't our squabble.

  12. h**l yes, there is.  Do you understand that some of the world's most important pipelines for oil and gas run right through Georgia?  Apparently, you don't.  READ!!

What a bunch of morons.  I hope you people don't plan on voting.  If we're lucky, maybe American Idol and the Bachelorette will have special two hour shows on Election Day.

  13. When a magician is doing an illusion with his right hand, he wants you to look at his left hand. Bush is leaving America with many serious problems, but he wants you to look somewhere else.

  14. No bush is a c**p president and i think pretty  much everyone in the world hates him. He is a jerk, and just causes trouble. I can't believe america picked him. No offense to anyone who likes him.

I dont  consider the georgia/russia conflict a good thign

  15. Georgia is not in any way as 'allied' to the west as the media would like to believe. However, it would probably be a good idea to set the precedence on how the West reacts to Russia's attempts to dominate it's neighbouring countries. After a while there might occur a more severe situation which can not be handled through merely diplomatic channels.

  16. somebody snipe Bush already...

  17. US ( people like you and me) do  not want to get involved in that conflict. One can take a poll to prove it.

The question is why Uncle Sam wants to get into this conflict.

The answer is "If one can not leave good deeds behind, he/she will leave bad deeds instead before leaving White House"

Using this conflict to build a cold war is just one of  many American unfavorable things, such as 5+ years Iraq war with loss of 4000+ lives, trillion dollars of new national deficit during 8 years in White House, 2 economy recessions (one in 2002-2003 in addition to the current deep recession), dying American manufacturing industries that have caused high unemployment and job outsourcing, weakest dollar value in US history,  high oil, food, ... prices caused by inflation, ... just naming a few.

P.S. There is only one percent of oil that flows through that Georgia pipeline, which is not significant at all.

  18. well, we would be better if we do not do anything. if you negate all the bad reasons, i can come up with a few positives.

    1. if we defend georgia, we will be able to promote democracy worldwide.

    2. if we invade russia, we will be able to distract their attention from us selling defensive missiles to ukrane (Russia has already threatened ukrane if they buy it).

    3. we could end the conflict easer witch will let more economic activity which would be good for their economies.

but if you weigh in the bad effects, it would be wiser not to not get involved.

  19. NO THERE IS NO GOOD REASON. sorry left caps on XP

  20. Well, if your goal is to weaken and overextend America's already stretched thin military, destroy America's credibility abroad (what's left of it,) prop up an unstable reckless violent ally, and risk a major pointless war with the world's only other major nuclear power...getting involved in Georgia is not only a good idea, it's a GREAT idea! Go team!

  21. Nope

there usually isn't a reason for our country to get involved

but you know our country we have to get involved in everything!

  22. I hate the sound of the US having a d**n conflict with this filthy Russians.  Because some country out there think they've got what it takes.

  23. No. There is no reason what so ever to be involved.
