  1. I work at home as a distributor for a company called Pure Romance. I've been doing it a while and love it!

The way it works is that you help with in home parties explaining our products, educating women about sexual health and having a great time!

Oh, if you are interested, I am looking for women to join my team. I have a lot of things to help you get started!

If you sign up before the end of march the starter kits are on sale!

  2. Laura, there are real jobs people do at home, but they're not the ones advertised online. Most of them are done either on a contract basis (my husband's company hires people to research and write legal articles, for instance) or are someone whose job could be done anywhere who requests home work.

I know several people who do contract writing, but only because of my husband's work, one person who's a medical indexer (whatever that is) at home, and two who do transcription at home, one medical and one legal.

Going out and finding a job to work at home is very difficult. All the people I know who do it started out working at the company and didn't start working at home until they'd been there for several years.

  3. Hi,

I have heard many success strory as well as failure in doing home based business. I guess the answer is that the success of the business depends on your effort to learn about the business, dedicate and enjoy what you are doing and be patient. Results does not come without efforts. Visit this site:

It has free news letter about this opportunities. Take your time and learn the business first before you jump to it.

    Good luck.

  4. You can try freelance writing, bookkeeping, software, transcription or customer service work at home jobs. These companies do not require any fee and pay well . List of companies(with websites) offering genuine work at home jobs is available at http://www.pcworkathome.net . Many of these companies have been in business for several years

  5. The ones that aren't scams actually require work on your part - and if you're in need of money soon then you're likely to be sorely disappointed in any of those as well. Most of the legit opportunities out there take time to build - so if someone makes an outrageous claim of income it probably isn't true ( and those that are true sure didn't make that kind of money when they first began ).

Time & effort required - but do your own research on what is best for you, don't take the advice of myself and others as gospel from this type of forum.

I have other ideas that may help - one of them is an online opportunity but another is one that will require a little effort to market yourself - try some data entry for local businesses, many of them don't have the time to do it in-house and will gladly pay someone else to do it. Professionals are a good place to start, lawyers, doctors, chiropractors, etc - they need their "in-house" folks doing other things rather than busy work.

    Hope it helps!

  6. 1. WelI I actually take surveys for cash. And yes they do pay as long as you know the good ones. I have some free survey sites that are very reliable just check out my profile by clicking my name or email me for them. I only give sites that I've been paid by so you won't get scammed. They're all reliable and I've never had a problem with them. (I've been doing them for a year now) The best part is that anyone can do them and they're easy. You won't get rich but they definitely help with bills :)

    2. Btw all the ones above are spammers and I wouldn't trust them cause they're giving sites I know for a fact are scams

  7. Hi Laura,

I am a work at home mom...I have a home based business as a designer with Latasia jewelry and love it! The company has been in business for over 15 years and is a member of the DSA. The job is fun, easy and the money is great. I'm not sure what kind of interests you have but it may be an option for you to consider. I'd be happy to send you some info if you'd like and can help you get started for free. I don't want to to break any of the yahoo rules, so if you're intereseted in hearing more, my contact info is on my profile.

    Good luck!

    Kim :)
