The Pawlonia tree originates out of China I think. The wood was/is used the wood to make wedding dowry implements.

With ample water through the summer months it will grow 2-3 meters and  more. Promise. It suckers freely if the roots are disturbed and will strike new trees easily from sectioned cuttings.

Also huge leaves and the perfect quick growing shade tree while establishing garden etc

The wood is light and resembles balsa. So although tree does not appear to need pruning to shape, high winds snap tree easily it seems. It has a beautiful flower like that of the foxglove in singular appearance. Mauve in colour.
