No morons please. I work for a feed manufacturer and I have heard that Walmart is selling Manna Pro feed under the name of "Family Farms" brand. These same Walmarts are selling A/H products such as fly control as well. If you know of such an occurance, I need the city and state, pricing, types of feed, etc. This is for competitive research. Last time I asked this question, I got stupid answers. If you don't know, don't answer. Thanks to those who answered my previous question seriously.

  1. None in my area - MD/DE

  2. I live in California and the answer is yes. I recently saw cracked corn, senior, sweet and some other products. The bags were only 40 lbs. I will be going there this weekend so I will check for you. You should also know that Sam's is selling two types of horse feed in 50lbs bags I buy the senior for 10.25  a bag. I will check the product and let you know what it says as well. You should also know that I live in what they call the country in California and I drive into a non-horse huge city for this.  We have many feed stores in the local area. So it did surprise me that they carried such products. I also heard from an employee that works there that they are considering carrying the compressed hay. i will email the information after the weekend

  3. Not any in Kentucky.

  4. A while ago, like a few years, walmart used to sell things like halters and fly-spray, at least in my area (southern louisiana). But they stopped selling them. I am not sure about the feed though. Have you tried looking on their website?

  5. No in Pennsylvania at least not at the moment. I hope not Walmart and Sams Club are already taking out the small farmers markets and stuff. If they start I'll notify you!

  6. I dont think so ???

Not here in Alberta Canada anyhow!

  7. Maybe you could go to the Walmart website and enter the search yourself to see if anything comes up, but I'd be surprised.

  8. Your best bet is to buy quality feeds like Purina etc. I wouldnt trust any feed for my horses that come from Walmart. But I dont believe they sell livestock feeds anyway.

  9. non of that in NY good luck on your research

  10. Granted, this was 3 or 4 years ago, but the Walmart in Morehead, Kentucky sold bags of feed, treats, brushes, halters, and basic first aid items.....it was in the pets section.

  11. None here in central Arkansas either. Good Luck!

  12. Not in Wisconsin Walmart or at least I've never seen them...

  13. I wish!

    ps- KENTUCKY!

  14. No, 'fraid not. If you live in Alabama or near Alabama like i do...you can go to a local racine's or something like that...just keep a look out on gardening store because they are very likely to have the feed your looking for.

  15. when i worked for walmart in the south(fl) they had limited feeds for live stock. i dont remember the names.

i'm sure they may look into having more equine items in their pets section. . . they have again, limited items, few halters, lead lines and brushes. (i've worked at 4 walmarts, 2 in more in the country, and 2 more in the city) and  the ones in the country had more vierty in their limitied sales of equine/large animal products.

but i wouldnt buy feed from walmart, i dont agree with their bizz practice, and wouldnt trust the quitality of feed if they do offer it more.  but sadly i'm broke (atm from startin new job) so i do have to go there for some of my general items.

i would/will buy me feed in bulk, (we live on a farm) like we do now for the other animals, walmart cant sell in bulk like sams club does. . . and therefore they'd still be more money then going to our local places we go now.

  16. I highly doubt it, and if they did I wouldn't trust the quality.  They don't at our Wal-marts anyways.

  17. None here in the central or SE areas of Ohio...  All accounted for. lol

  18. Not in NY thank God.  Though if this is for "competitive research", wouldn't it just be easier to contact Wal-Mart and ask...?

  19. I've never seen any in MO.

  20. I have seen some in northern Minnesota when I was on vacation up there. It was on the MN/ND boarder.

I don't remember the brand, but I know it was Manna Pro and I remember thinking the price was a little expensive.

They had expensive fly spray as well, around $30 for a 32 oz. spray bottle.

  21. not in texas
