  1. For sure!  Beer 0.0 % alcohol, and real beer (no malt) is available in Europe, everywhere.

  2. Becks do an alcohol free version, you can get it in basically any bar or pub,

  3. I've seen "malt" sold in middle eastern stores.  It's 0% alcohol beer but it has added sugar to make it sweet.

I've read about a beer called Liber and is sold in Latin America, an ethnic store may have some.

    good luck.

  4. There's no such thing as 100% alcohol free beer because at that point it is no longer beer.  NA beers are usually 1-2% ABV.  European examples incude Kaliber and Clausthaler.

  5. No, there are no alcohol free beers, the lowest is 0.5 in odouls..

  6. O'Douls in the US, but I'm not sure it's 100 percent alcohol free.

  7. I agree with AleSmith, that once the alcohol is removed (why the h**l do that?) it no longer is beer. A brewed no alcohol malt beverage is a better and new term for it.

No. It must first be a beverage brewed of grains and fermented to be classified as beer. In order to make the beer low or alcohol-free the brewer uses vacuum distillation and or dialysis to remove the alcohol. Today, reverse osmosis is beginning to show promise as a method of removing alcohol from beer. Due to limitations in the process not all of the alcohol can be removed. Therefore, government standards allow for a beer containing 0.5% ethyl-alcohol or less to be marketed as non-alcoholic.

#*# By running the beer through the process several times  more alcohol can be removed  approaching zero percent ethyl alcohol. However, this could further damage flavor and result in retail costs being prohibitive. Therefore 0.5% is a good compromise.
