Is there any alternative herb or weed to marijuana that's legal?

none that I know of...here in the state of Maine USA weed..(marijuana) is pretty much legal...if you get caught with over an ounce...it's like a 200 dollar fine...no biggy...I don't smoke anything anymore but I have never found anything that is as good as a good ole doo-bee...

Only thing I know about it that you can take a nutmay (how do i write that?) nut and grind it put it in a glass of water and drink it.but i think that only makes you hallucinate.... I have an idea move to the Netherlands!!

Well there is saliva. Or you can smoke green tea it doesn't get you as high but a little. Or if your just looking for a trip that wont make you fail a p**s test may I suggest Skittlz  (Coricidin cough and cold), Robitussin cough and cold, or Dramamine( not the non drowsy formula). The last 3 are both over the counter.

nope... and salvia is not like weed its more like lsd or shrooms... but not harmful

no actually, that is why so many states now have legal medical marijuana programs. there are no other naturally occuring drugs which can provide the same medicinal power as good old mary jane. the only other high is a sugar high. lol

Salvia, it's not the same, exactly, but it's the only legal herb I can think of.

Salvia, nutmeg, and the like are NOT like marijuana. Their effects are quite different. You shouldn't use nutmeg, it is often extremely painful. I wouldn't recommend salvia unless you've used other hallucinogens like mushrooms.

There really is no equivalent plant, but the closest legal plant to marijuana in effects is hops (the same herb used in beer).

Hops contains some chemicals similar to those in marijuana. It can be smoked or you can make tea with it. The smoke is very harsh, and the tea does not taste good.

Hops is not nearly as strong as marijuana. It produces a mild feeling of relaxation, and also tends to put people to sleep.
