  1. Some in fullham but they are not very popular and Tim Howard plays for everton.

  2. Jozy Altidore in Villareal is the closest the US has.

  3. (scratches head) i dont think so, and to dynamo's answer, that is not true, nery castillo was at man u, before n e american could ever get to europe, he was there when he was like 16, but could not play b/c of a work permit watever the epl recommends u must have in order to play there, so thats why he got loaned out to olympiacos and had several stellar seasons, so they had the oppurtunity to buy him and they did

  4. Everton-  Tim Howard

Aston Villa-  Brain Friedel, Brad Guzan and Eric Lichaj

    West Ham United- Jonathan Spector

    Villareal- Jozy Altidore

    Rangers FC- DeMarcua Beasley

    Hertha Berlin- Bryan Arguez

Hannover 96- Steve Cherundolo and Sal Zizzo

    Vfl Wolfsburg- Kamani Hill

    Hansa Rostock- Heath Pearce

    Sampdoria- Gabriel Ferrari

    Lorient- Andrew Jacobson

Here are a few American players that play in some of the top leagues of Europe (I left out Fulham FC).

  5. Only some kid at the Villareal bench.

  6. Nope---Every American player sucks.

    Every Mexican player rules.

When USA plays against Mexico, Mexico wins 12-0 every time.

Seriously!  Why am I even answering this question?

Does it really matter how many players a country has that plays overseas, or if they play for quality sides when it comes to quality of a nation's football?  Isn't that what you guys are saying, USA sucks because they don't have any players that play for Man U, Barcelona or Real Madrid?

How many Swedes play outside Sweden?  How about Danes?  Russians?  Romanians?  Bulgarians?  I would say very few from these countries play in Europe's Big 6 Leagues (England, Spain, Italy, Germany, Holland, France), and of those that do even fewer play on the big clubs.   Do these countries suck?  Nope.

I lived in Europe, amongst other places and the reality is, Euros think every country outside Europe and South America suck at soccer.  USA included and even you Mexico.  It's reality.  It's why I *gulp* even cheer for Mexico over some teams in Europe, like England, Spain and Italy, because those countries think their S**t don't stink.

There, I said it.  Thank you for reading.

  7. Yup Chelmo Beltran has it, that kid from HAITI in Villareal watching Guille Franco play.

Notice Dyanmo's answer, he said they HAD. Then they get mad when we bring up our 30 victories over the USA and say we are living in the past. l0l?!?

  8. Kenny Cooper from FC Dallas played for Manchester United for 3 years.  Rossi was there but wasn't as good as Cooper so he left.  They say he will play for Italy Youth National Team but USA full National team

  9. Only Tim Howard in Everton!  Every other player plays in a mid-lower table team!  Teams that are always fighting for Relagation every year!  If the rumors are true about Everton wanting Ochoa...Tim Howard will end up riding the bench until he leaves to another mid-lower table team of the EPL!

  10. To all those people that are citing Demarcus Beasley (Rangers), Joszy Altidore (Villareal), and Tim Howard (Everton) are forgetting one key thing: THESE ARE NOT MAJOR EUROPEAN CLUBS!!! If I'm not mistaken, Rangers just got eliminated in the second round of the Champions League by a Lithuanian team. I repeat, a LITHUANIAN TEAM!!! And Beasley barely played even that game. Villareal have never won a Liga title and didn't even get to the top division until 1992. And Everton...they haven't been relevant since 87'! I don't see how any of this qualifies these teams as "major" European clubs.

And yes, I'm entirely jealous that the US has so many more players in Europe overall. I wish more Mexican players had the capacity to play in the Norwegian and Hungarian third divisions. d**n those Americans! They got us again!

  11. clint dempsey, eddie johnson- fulham

    brad guzan- aston villa

there are and have been a lot of american players in european clubs

  12. i don't think that there are any there are some in some major european leagues but not in teams that have an importance

  13. I know of 3 players.

    tim howard in everton EPL

jozy altidore in villareal La liga

    damarcus beasley in rangers SPL

thats not bad right there.the US is working to increase that number.

michael bradley is highly rumored to be in evertons sights.

negotiations are ongoing.we will have just have to wait and see what happens.

also brek shea is in Man United sights.alex ferguson has reportedly shown interest in brek.brek shea currently plays in the MLS.

    lets keep it going boys

  14. nope some in fullham but fullham isnt popular

  15. Tim Howard played in Man U. before

    he was a starter

  16. um no

  17. hon you obviously don't now what major clubs are...and i think its past your bedtime mister

  18. Sadly only two middle class team Villarreal & Everton. While the mexicans has two superstars on top european teams. Rafael Marquez in barcelona fc(same team who beat red bull 6-2, I believe.)Carlos Vela is in Arsenal(one of the best team in the EPL who alway beat everton.)

There also mexicans in meddle class too. There Guille franco who get his seat warm up by jozy. There manchester city, tottenham, psv, deportivo la coruna, vfb stuttgart, frankfurt and others.

  19. I think there was a portero who started with Man U

  20. nop

i think onyewu played for necastle

and didnt demarcus beasley play for psv. or was it man city. or both. dont feel like looking it up

and YES! tim howard DID play for man u. AS A STARTER. he was badass. till he had a g*y error.

  21. dynamo the only reason 2 players made it into man udt is because they are white and talk english but sadly they got no skill whatsoever

  22. Demarcus Beasley Rangers

  23. Tons.  Also, we had two players at Man U before Mexico ever had a player in England.

  24. just that hatian kid sitting on  a bench in villareal watching g. franco play.

and tim howard who plays for everton, the rest are in fulham a team that is going to get relagated this year or next.

i give credit to tim howard,   he is the best on team usa.

    every one else is garbage

  25. The closest to a big club is Everton and there keeper is Howard but that is all.

  26. yeah dynamo u did have 2 players in man u and one ditched you to play with italy, rossi yea member him. the only reason there are american players at fulham and everton those teams are owned by american people so no surprise. sadly they dont get to play

  27. I belive Barcelona, Arsenal, PSV, and... oh wait that's Mexican starters!!! :0

oh and dynamo kenny cooper was a reserve never made it to the bench!!!
