Is there any animal shelters that let 13 year olds volunteer there?

Petsmart and petco some times takes teens, call and ask.

Our local shelter loves having young people volunteer. They take the dogs for walks, play with them and just give the dogs and cats some affection.

i'm sure they do. just search online for a shelter near you. they love volenteers.

my friend actually got a job as an assistant at a vet clinic and she's only 17.

so i would do some research if i were you.

plus, community service and volunteering looks GREAT on a college application!
