A man has appeared in a Sydney court today charged with aggravated sexual assault and robbery in the city's west.
**** ** ****, 23, faced court on 11 charges for offences that happened between April and July.
The women aged between 16 and 19 were targeted while they were walking or waiting at bus stops.
After one of the victims recently spotted the man in Blacktown, closed circuit television (CCTV) footage of him was publicly released yesterday.
Detective Superintendent John Kerlatec says the man turned himself into police after seeing the footage on television last night.
"These matters are always complex and take some amount of time in dealing with unknown offenders," he said.
"Seeking the assistance of the community, which we have done, and having CCTV footage has significantly advanced our progress in achieving the result we have.">>
