Is there any areas in Brooklyn that has a friendly neighborhood?

I'm planning to move out after I graduate HS. I need an apartment, but I don't know where to move in, because I don't know about neighborhood in different areas in Brooklyn such as Williamsburg and Canarise.

Try Mill Basin. It is relatively quiet and has good transportation. Good Luck.

Williamsburg is great because there are lots of places to hang out and meet people.

Canarsie doesn't really offer much...except possibly cheap rent.

Consider Bay Ridge and Sunset Park as alternatives. THey are on the R subway line instead of the L. They are relatively close to Park Slope and down town Manhattan and they are affordable.
