I am not sure what you are asking here, but there are many beautiful rain forests-- some people think they are all beautiful but I feel that the mountain forests are prettiest.  For pure beauty I would recommend the Osa Penisula or the Monteverde area.

Here is what you find in a rain forest. And it can be quite overwhelming to say the least!

Real high dense vegetation like trees tops hitting the low flying clouds and a lot of vines growing just as high with colorful flowers on them at different times of the years.

Literally hundreds of different and colorful birds and animals of all kinds like monkeys, Tapirs, panthers, armadillos, Jaguars, etc, a variety of colorful snakes and other reptiles like crocodiles and alligators with the rivers filled with different fish including pirhanas, etc. and tons of bugs and flying and crawling insects!

Some Rain Forests have rivers or streams running in them and many have some real high and beautiful water falls which are quite spectacular!

And it is usually filled with the sounds of many of these creatures which can at time be quite a racket!

And yes!  It is somewhat "steamy"  and wet which is why  it is called a Rain Forest!

Some people love it - and some don't!
