Is there any big buffet with seafood in the san francisco bay area?

You should go to restaurants that "cook to order"  You want FRESH seafood.  Try Scomas on the wharf, or Acqua downtown.

Not a buffet as far as I know, but there are many really good seafood restaurants of which we San Franciscans are very proud.

i don't think there is a seafood only buffet, however most buffets offer a selection of seafood.  Especially the large hotels like the Hilton or Crowne Plazas.  There are alot of good fish houses around the bay...get a Chronicle

there are a number of Todai buffets around the bay area, and up and down the coast (yes LA and San Diego also)  the selection is good and the quality of food is good (but not great) ...if you are in the San Francisco area I would suggest Umekos in Japan town... usually a number of shellfish dishes, a small but fresh selection of sushi and other hot dishes, the price will usually be in the 20 to 30 dollar range and the food is pretty good , there are other places with big buffets with lots of B grade seafood and hot dishes such as 'super buffet' in Novato but that would probably be when you are trying to feed the masses of family or foot the bill for a family gathering for a small price (dinner is 10.95 , lunch 8.95 and they have all you can eat clams, salt and pepper dungeness crab, fried shrimp, calamari , roast duck and other hot asian dishes as well as fruit, small sushi selection and desert)... above poster made a great recommendation with Scomas in the Wharf area, also recommended dining two blocks above  at McCormick and Kuletos...good luck and good dining...

There is a place called Moonstar that has seaood buffet. It is on Market St.
