  1. Sprouts sells bags that break down in the sun and I know that Simple Shoes ship their products in bags that you bury and they biodegrade.

  2. Yes, there is a new technology which allows the usage of biodegradable-plastic bag. In Korea for example, it is against the law for their citizens to just dump their garbage in any plastic bags. The government distributes the biodegradable plastic bags countrywide and people can buy them.

  3. brown paper bags

  4. use strong paperbags for the purpose instead of polybags, in fact authorities must make it mandatory for the use of paparbags. Glazed paperbags would serve the purpose just fine...and all these are recycle-able!

  5. your point is valid

but there is a better solution

That is what a compost heap is good for

If everybody had one ,we would not have landfill contamination

  6. intersesting question...but, are you aware that no matter what you use, nothing decomposes in a landfill....get popular mechanics for kids from the library....they have an episode on landfills....they did a core dig and pulled up trash from about thirty to fifty feet under and pulled up trash from the eighties, all completely in tact like as if it were just in your dumpster....plastic, paper, fabric, etc.....so, with that being said, simply create less waste, compost what you can, donate what you can, make art with what you can, and throw the rest away without a trash bag....
