There are tons of breeders around NYC, which species are you looking for? Go to sites like birdbreeders.com, birdsnway.com, etc. You can also check your local craigslist, kijiji, and similar sites.

Just tell whoever you buy from you don't want the wings clipped. If you find a bird you love but the person already clipped the wings, it's not a big deal, they'll regrow when the bird molts again in a few months, it's not permanent.....
