  1. pacquiao the man

  2. thumbs up to matthew.

here is the list....which includes fighters who won lesser "titles" eg IBO, WBF, IBC, etc

  3. Matthew is right.  Four people have won titles in 5 different weight divisions.  Hitman Hearns, Sugar Ray Leonard, Golden Boy, and Pretty Boy Floyd.

James is right about Pac, and let me elaborate..

People are confused with Pacquiao's victory over Barrera.  Although Ring Magazine recognized Pacquiao as the true Featherweight Champion, NONE of the sanctioning bodies in boxing consider his fight with Barrera, a title fight.   Making it a NON-TITLE bout.

So he won fights at many different weights, won championships at 5 different weight divisions, however, since Ring Magazine is not considered a sanctioning body in boxing, Pac is recognized by the sanctioning bodies in boxing as winning TITLES in 4 different weight divisions.

  4. Only four boxers have won major titles in five different weight classes, Thomas hearns, Sugar Ray Leonard,Oscar De La Hoya and floyd Mayweather Jr.

Pacquiao has won in four weight classes not five.

  5. matt is correct, Polka, while pac has won fights in 5 weight divisions, he has won titles only in 4.

  6. pacman

    leonard

    golden boy

    pretty g*y floyd

  7. Yeah, only four people have done this. And those people are Thomas Hearns(my idol), Floyd Mayweather, Ray Charles Leonard, and Oscar De La Hoya.
