there are frequent bus between tripur and mettupalayam.

if u need to go to mettupalayam directly u can take a bus which leaves to Ooty.All busses going to Ooty will stop in Mettupalayam. The best way to reach mettupalayam is

Get a bus to Coimbatore

and after reaching here take another bus to mettupalayam.

every 10 min u can get busses from tripur and coimbatore

From early morning 4.30 a.m to night 11 p.m, every 10 minutes a bus is available from Tirupur to Metupalaiyam(55 km).

Traveling time is 1.30 minutes and  direct bus to ooty is also available for every 11/2 hour's.Bus starts from new bus stand

and you can catch those buses from pusbha theater bus

stop also(near railway station).

Tirupur,Coimbatore,Metupalaiyam are triangular city and

distance in between any two city is 55kms only.so if you want

to go metupalaiyam from tirupur, then you don't want to go

coimbatore and every 10 minutes frequency,buses are

available in  all this 3 cities
