Is there any car rental agencies at the brooklyn Cruise terminal?

I don't believe so....My wife & I took a Cruise out of there in late 2005 and saw a number of things. First of all; the terminal is very hectic, crowded & rather expensive as far as parking your own car there is concerned. A better option is to have a friend drop you off & pick up up. Even that is somewhat difficult because, especially upon disembarking, there is no place for the person picking you up to park because the security people only allow vehicles to stop ( not park ) just long enough to discharge or pick up passengers. My wife & I live on Long Island and solved all of these problems by pre-arranging a taxi ride by a L.I. Taxi Co. to & from Terminal. When we returned & were getting ready to dock in Brooklyn, I used my cell phone ( as taxi co. had requested ) to call the company from the ship informing them that we were approaching Brooklyn. The Co. had a cab on " standby " & when I was finally off the ship with my luggage over 1 hour later.....I again phoned the taxi company as I stood in a very crowded sea of people  in front of the terminal waiting for rides. Although I heard many people complain that they were still waiting for a ride 45-60 minute later.....my taxi pulled up within 3 minutes of my call and to my amazement & the amazment of the crowd....we were on the Belt Parkway 10 minutes later---Prebooking your taxi ride is the best way to go ..............
