Is there any chance Channel 7 will show more then 5min of uninterrupted coverage before crossing to an ad?

Why on earth would you be asking this? Surely advertisements about Home and Away are the highlight of your olympic experience? Well at least that's what channel 7 must think anyway. I highly doubt that we will get over 5 minutes of coverage without the entirely riveting ads for people creepily watching other people's phones on Telstra (which since the olympics, I have not yet seen happen!).

They are only capable of doing this when it is USA and China playing in the Basketball.  Of course they show less with ads when it is Australia playing because it's not like Australian viewers would want to watch it or anything.

but, channel 7 is a popular channel, so i think alot of companies pay them to have their ads on t.v during the olympics. thats probably why there are so many ad breaks!
