  1. brown is dominant color to blue so I would say the baby has a better chance at having brown eyes

  2. for there to be a chance both you and  the dad have to have the gene for blue eyes. He does not necessarily have to have blue eyes just carry the gene

  3. It depends on if he has a recessive trait for blue eyes with his brown eyes. If not the baby will have brown eyes. Blue is a recessive trait and you must have a blue eye gene from both parents in order for it to be shown in the baby. If he has a blue eye recessive gene then there is about a 50-50 chance. If he has no blue recessive gene then there is a 0% chance.

  4. brown is supposed to be more dominant but you never know what could happen good luck and congrats

  5. I would say its leaning more to the brown but its completely positive. my nephew has green eyes and his mom my sis has dark brown eyes and his daad my brother in law has honey colored eyes so anything is possible. I think you might have a high chance

  6. Brown is the dominant gene for eye colour.  Blue is not simple as that.  He would need to carry blue gene So he would need to be bB (blue-Brown) and you are bb (blue-blue)

So babies could be bb, bb, Bb, Bb - so 50/50...  If however he does not have bB bt instead has BB then baby can only be Bb, Bb - so Brown is dominant.

However ofcourse your kid has a chance of having blue - if he didn't then everybody in the world would have brown eyes by now...

And lot's of babies start out with baby blues before they change to darker colours.

  7. It used to be believed that brown eyes were dominant. Researchers have found that that is not true.

  8. 50/50 if your partner has one parent with blue and one with brown

  9. It really depends on which one of your colors are the more dominant gene. If it is your blue, than baby will have blue, if it is his brown than the baby will have brown. The baby could also be born with a different eye color than both of you.

EDIT: My father had brown eyes, and mom has blue...Obviously blue was the dominant gene.
