  1. We'd love to do a trade: How does A-Rod to United for Rooney.

I'm sick of that scum. I love Rooney's work even though I'm a pool fan.

  2. Your best chance would be to come over here and play for college. There are virtually no scouts in the UK that could scope out your talent.

  3. You would probably need to come to the US and go to college if you wanted to get scouted.

  4. I wouldn't imagine that the MLB is sending scouts to England.  If you come to an open tryout here in America, that would probably be your best oprotunity.  Most, if not all teams, DO have open tryouts.  Send them a video of you playing.  If you wind up with an agent, have him work on this.  Otherwise, your best bet is to attend a large public univeristy here in America.

  5. Yes you can become a MLB player no matter where you are from.

  6. you would have to be playing at a level that MLB scouts take seriously.  At that, they would have to be at your game and watch you play for consideration.

a much easier option is to try out for an MLB minor league team here in the USA.  they offer open try outs and are constantly looking for new talent.

    good luck.

  7. There may be a slight shot of having a scout visit your team in England, but the only way the MLB will budge is if you make national headline news or are a child prodigy becasue there is enough fierce competition in the USA. Your best shot though if you think you have a great shot of making it is to send tapes of your practices and games to a Division 1 ( D-1) college if they feel you are good they will offer you scholarships and the rest is just playing great. But to not go to college in the US may hinder your ability to play since there are so many great players in D-1 schools.

  8. No, way to much competition here in the U.S and  Latin America.
