  1. The odds of life on Mars are remote but i borrowed this link from another question a while ago and the pictures are legitimate as far as i can tell, when i look at the pictures i see what looks to be life on Mars, but there still might be another explanation for the images, anyway have a look and be the judge for yourself.

  2. earth life needs liquid water. on mars, atmospheric pressure is very low, barely high enough to allow water to exist in the liquid phase. in any case the only places where water has been detected is near the poles, which are way too cold for liquid water. the atmosphere is mostly carbon dioxide, which pretty much rules out complex animal life on the surface. environmental radiation is quite harsh, as the magnetosphere is very weak. however there are signs that it wasn't always like that. perhaps life formed in a more hospitable earlier martian climate. maybe it even manages to survive still, deep underground where there is heat, pressure, less radiation, maybe water... there are places on earth that have life where we might not have expected to find it, these so-called extremophiles have adapted to conditions that they find. a similar thing might well have happened on mars, although unlike earth the surface environment is now extremely hostile. on earth though all these kinds of organisms are microscopic, almost all single celled. so perhaps there's life, but it might not be very "interesting".

  3. yes, they have been stuff we have found that could be proof of fossils of biological organisms.

  4. check it...i bet when our sun was hotter Mars was a great place to live; so like way back when the Earth sucked for life but now it's perfect

  5. You can check these websites out for details

    2.www.space.com/scienceastronomy/myste... - 60k - .

    Hope you find your answers

  6. There is traces of water, which implies that Mars was stable enough to support life. Chances of humans reaching the Martian surface... ZERO! Too far away and not enough ATMOSPHERE!

  7. no i do not think we are gonna go fly out into space going to mars -.- i think we will all die on earth

  8. actually, scientists calculations show that mars is made of iron. the red dust covering the iron is rust. and rust can only form if there is water and oxygen. water any oxygen are two things essential to life. i think there are also traces of carbon dioxide on mars. and im not sure, but i think scientists have found microscopic, single-celled organisms there. is so, that is similar to the first life beings on earth. i think that mars had life on it in the beginning like earth, but mars is too far away from the sun. therefor, the climate was cold and mars froze into something more extreme than the earth's ice age.

  9. I'd assume there is; since anything could potenially be possible. I think it would be really neat if scientists discovered a life form on Mars that is tied to a 9/11 conspiracy...

  10. NO.

  11. There is a chance life existed on Mars. Around the time life began on Earth Mars was a very hospitable place. In theory, Mars had a magnetic field before its core cooled too much, its atmosphere was much more dense because the magnetosphere kept if from being blown away by solar winds, and there used to be oceans of water. A lot of Martian geology indicates there used to be water.

Whether life has sustained itself there until now is another question. Most likely life died out on Mars before it could adapt to Mars's climate change to the thin aired freezing desert it is now. However, there have been satellite images that show liquids are still changing the geology of Mars. I believe the Phoenix lander has all but proven Water does exist on Mars so the liquid that has been flowing across Mars is most likely water. If this is the case Mars may just still have some microbes living beneath the surface.

  12. Probably if you global warm the planet and plant plants ther and plants breath out oxygen.

Mars is very similar to earth.

  13. there is 1/8 of air in there

    i think

    not sure tho

    and ofcourse in future

    maybe 2050
