  1. www.usps.com

    just international postage.

  2. That depends on a few things.

The person in Ireland receiving it may have to pay duty and VAT depending on the value of the contents of the parcel and the nature of them.

I think the cut off point for duty is about 60 euro. If the contents of the parcel are worth more than that, then duty 'may' apply. The Post Office (An Post) are less likely to charge it than a courier type (DHL) company, but it is a possibility. The rate of duty and VAT will depend on what is in the parcel.

  3. If the item is a gift with a value of $45 you may get off, if not you will be charged VAT and duty especially if the item is sent by say DHL (they will collect the money for the revenue on delivery).Posting can help as it may just slip thru with no charges but dont bet on it.

  4. If you are posting items from America to Ireland in England, it will cost more than say posting something to someone in your own country. This is because you are posting internationally.

Click on this link for the US postal service so you can calculate the price:

Hiya...that garbage some idiot has written below about VAT etc is tosh and just ignore it. All you have to do is go to the website I recommended to find out the price of how much postage will be. The postage price you pay is all you need to post it.
