  4. Look at pricing to Buffalo if you're in the U.S.  Rent a car and cross the border.

    My wife, kids and I do that about 2x per year.  The flight stays at domestic prices, you avoid the sky-high Toronto prices, and avoid the endless wait through imigration/customs there.

    Overall, time spent is comparable between the two routes.
