  1. Add community colleges to what Andrea said, and you've got your answer.

  2. Wake Forest University

The only university ranked among the top 30 national universities to have this optional SAT/ACT policy.

  3. community colleges.  they make you take an assessment to see what classes you're qualified for but that's it

  4. In recent years, what with research suggesting that SATs don't predict anything other than a student's success in **the first year of** college, SAT scores are no longer seen as tell-all predictors of college success.

What that means is that it isn't just the community, technical, and smaller regional colleges that don't require SATs or ACT scores anymore.

The more selective ones that don't require SATs or ACTs are:

    Middlebury College*

    Hamilton College*

    Connecticut College*

    Union College*

    Bard College

    Bowdoin College

    Bates College

    Bennington College

    College of the Holy Cross

    Dickinson College

    Franklin and Marshall College

    Mount Holyoke College

    Drew University

    Providence College

    Pitzer College

    Lawrence University

    Wheaton College

    Hampshire College

    Juniata College

    Hobart and William Smith College

    Ursinus College

    Muhlenberg College

    Gustavus College

    Knox College

    Lewis and Clark College

    Susquehanna University

    * indicates a college that does not require the SAT/ACT as long as the student will submit the SAT II

  5. Most technical colleges. They will make you take an accuplacer test which is their own version of something like an SAT and ACT. However even at tech school's, some programs at them will require that you take and ACT. So you would have to check that out.
