Is there any companys that don't mistreat animals?

I just watched the worst video about how company's mistreat animals before they kill them. Are there any that don't?

Meat that is marked Kosher has to be from animals that were treated humanly before being killed, but they are still killed, so consider going veggie like me.

There is no such thing as humane meat.  Even if that cow lived its life on a fluffy pink cloud and ate rainbows, it's still murdered in the prime of its life to satisfy someone's tastebuds.  I can't get behind the whole "happy meat" thing.

Kim, if anything kosher slaughter is even more cruel.  My understanding is that kosher law requires the animal to be conscious when it's slaughtered, so those animals don't even have the benefit of being stunned before their throats are slit.

Why are you trying to get people who don't eat meat to not eat meat?

Unfortunately, this seems to be hard to monitor.

Even open-range and organic meat animals can be treated terribly.

I suggest supporting local farmers where you can visit the farm and see the conditions for yourself.

Most companies don't abuse animals. Just like the evening news, you only hear about the worst of the worst.

Kim---do you have any idea what kosher means? Where does your answer place kosher dill pickles and kosher salt??

You can go to Peta's website and they have a list of companies that don't test on animals.
