There could be if the republicans stay in power.  They are h**l bent on expanding the "empire" our corporations in different countries is todays version of expanding.  This is usually what leads to the down fall of a nation.

The moral decay of abortion and homosexuality certainly led to the downfall of Rome and to add to that men elevating themselves to that of a god.  Read the history of  nations in the past and see that corruptness from the leadership down throughout society led to their downfall.  How close are we?
