  1. yes

  2. You can of course try things like Ben-g*y, but they won't really truly do a lot for you. There's an ibuprofen cream or two, but you want to avoid relying on them too much.

You're best off listening to your body and avoiding overtraining.

After that you can ice shortly after a workout (R.I.C.E.). If it's persisting after a couple days, you can shift to heat for muscles (probably sticking to ice on joints), including soaks in a bath or hot tub.

If you recover properly, you can tend to avoid a lot of muscle soreness. This means stretching after a run as well as consuming an adequate combination of carbs and protein almost immediately after your run. After a really rough running day, you might even want to do a "real" protein shake to aid recovery. Some people also find benefit from massage (or things like the "Stick").

Stretch after your run. And otherwise ice is probably going to be your new best friend until you get other stuff figured out. I'd personally avoid creams (and pills) as much as possible.

  3. Bengay seems to work for me.

  4. There's IcyHot pads or cream or Tiger balm (It smells like sweet tea)

  5. No cream, if your legs are sore-BACK OFF, dont over train

  6. Icy Hot smells minty, like mint gum. I like it but some people don't. There is also bengay...idk what it smells like. You can also buy herbal muscles rubs at health food stores like whole foods.

  7. icy hot and bengay (that brand name is offensive bty)

  8. icy hot and bengal

  9. ice your legs for 30 minutes every night.

Creams? Icy hot or tiger's balm. Dont apply excessively! only apply after training!
