  1. It is very difficult to find an cruise line that offers a 0% supplement for single travellers...

One cruise line though, Orient Lines, offers 0% supplement but only on selected cabin grades (25% for other grades and 75% for A grades and suites).

There are however some other cruise lines that offer under 50% supplement (which is better than 125%+!). These are:

    African Safari Club

    Crystal

    Discover egypt

    Ocean Village

    P&O Cruises

Cruise lines that have single cabins in their fleet include:

    Classic International

    Costa

    Cunard

    Fred Olsen

    Hebredean Island Cruises

    Holland America

    Island Cruises

  2. Yes, Easy Cruises, go on www. easycruises.com :)

  3. NO, they all sell cabins double occupancy.  Even cruises agents that advertise "singles" cruises will pare you with someone.  Not something I would want to do considering the size and closeness of a cabin.

One suggestion if you just want to go on a cruise alone.  First, look for  cruises where the price varies by time of year and then book the lowest priced cabin on the ship.  That would be an inside cabin or probably one with an obstructed view.  But double the price will be less than booking a balcony or suite during the high priced season.

For example check this RC web page:

    http://www.royalcaribbean.com/findacruis...

The cruise price varies by date from $600 to $1200 for the cheapest cabin or you can go during their "HOT" sail and get a balcony or suite for less.

  4. Good question. I was on a cruise with my sister, Holland America and met several single men. One was telling me he waited until the last miute and did nto pay a single supplement. But I would like to know the protocal.

  5. A lot of times you can call a travel agent who can help out with cheaper rates if you are a single traveler.  The absolute best way to go on a cruise for cheap is to wait until last minute.  Rooms that are not booked early in advanced are sold for hundreds of dollars cheaper right before the cruise.
