I know they offer jet skis and the like for rent, but say you're taking a one way cruise to hawaii where you plan on staying for a month and want to have your own boat with you, are there any that offer transport options for this?

  1. Storage is a MAJOR constraint on cruise ships, so you can only bring things you can fit in your cabin.

Potentially you could have it shipped freight and just pick it up when you arrive.  A buddy of mine had his car shipped from Hawaii this way.

FYI, there aren't really one-way cruises to Hawaii.  They either go round trip from the mainland or just around Hawaii.  Occasionally one will go from the mainland and stop in Hawaii on the way to Asia or Australia, but that's rare.

  2. If you are talking about something the size of a jet ski, then no, you would have to ship that.  If you are talking something much smaller, such as would fit in your luggage, then yes, you can bring it.

  3. You may want to do some research because I was stationed in Pearl & any motorized vechile has to have a special permit before they will allow it there. Reason - the police want to know what they may have to catch.
