I really need this, as I will soon be a full time student at college, and can only afford to make low monthly payments. Thank you so much!

  1. eBay. I bought a laptop on ebay and it ended being the best purchase I ever made!

  2. you could go to circuit city they have really cheap laptops starting at about $400 or so or you could try compusa

  3. I would advise against eBay or Craiglist or getting a used laptop.  Final price on an auction site depends on how many are bidding and how high they will go.  Demand for laptops is so great that the final bid prices are surprisingly close to actual retail.  Getting a used laptop may cause other issues - your machine may have all sorts of problems the seller didn't notice.  Hunting down parts (especially if it's an old laptop) can be time consuming and expensive.

For under $600 you can get a Dell Studio - try saving what you can and borrowing the rest.

  4. I bought my laptop for college - I had NO money! But I got mine from Dell.com and it ended up being perfect for me. You can pretty much build what you want - and now (making me want a new one) they come in all sorts of cool colors!!!

My min. months payment was only $20 a month.

  5. BestBuy.Com ! :D

  6. tiger direct

  7. E BAY or craig's list
