  1. I think that educated people are better able to make informed decisions about important issues in politics and in their own lives.

    Demographically, the more educated an individual is, the more likely they are to be liberal. Coincidence?


  2. no...the real educated dont show off. the real uneducated try to learn.

  3. I have met many people who don't even have a H.S. diploma who display more education than some of the so called "educated elite".

  5. The problem with most people's view of being educated is it involves a  useless piece of paper earned by remembering facts long enough to make a passing grade. I feel you can become a more educated, well rounded person by extracurricular involvement. I, for example, learned more in a week long trip to Paris/London and through my involvement with my g*y campus organization then I would ever hope to learn memorizing facts out of a book just long enough to pass a test.
