Is there any difference in graphics quality between 1080p and 1080i?

  1. 1080p has a much better graphics output!

    Although the two both use 1920X1080 resolution screen, the 1080p displays each line of pixels smoothly and sequentially - making for a much clearer, less grainy picture; 1080i uses interlaced layers of pixels (hence the 'i') this means that the screen will show odd numbered lines and then even numbered after (all happening in around 1/30th of a second. This may sound trivial but makes for a much more jerky picture.

    Go for 1080p all the way!
