Is there any doubt fast food dollar menu is best bang for buck?

I'm too lazy to cook. So cooking is not considered an option.

Since then, is there any counterargument or alternative to a fast food dollar menu?

I literally only buy what's $1, not fries, not drinks. (and I eat for less than $5 a day)

What's cheaper than a double cheeseburger? Two meats, two slices of cheese, two slices of bread for $1.

Whatever you're getting at a sandwich place, restaruant is $5-10. With that you can easily buy 5-10 double cheeseburgers and still have lots left over after you eat the meat, bread, cheese, vegetables.

Even Ramen instant noodles requires you to add your own hot water.

  1. Hey, I live off the dollar menu.  The cool thing is that you can get regular salad or cesar salads at Wendy's!  You can get a meal and dessert at some places and not spend $4!!!!  I think it's great!  Taco Bell, McDonalds, Burger King, etc.  have really come through for the thrifty!

  2. thinking... thinking... Well I'm stumped! no. i think that the dollar menu is the cheapest if you want a meal. but Jello is only like 30 cents and all you have to do it mix with hot&cold water then stick it in the fridge. only problem is its not much of a meal

-BTW I wouldn't be eating that much McDonalds if I were you...

  3. You, sir, are absolutely right.

If you're strapped for cash and don't want to cook, the dollar menus are the best way to go.

However! You must be careful which menu you choose from!

Personally, I think Wendy's dollar menu is the best.  They have three good burgers now, really good fresh salads, fries, and (my favorite) chicken nuggets!

Get a burger, a salad, and two orders of chicken nuggets, and that's good eating, my friend.

  4. The dollar menu is garbage.  I don't eat garbage.  I will pay for quality 'fats food' like In-N-Out, Quizno's or Baja Fresh.  But in my experience, if it's from the dollar menu you'd get more nutritional value from the wrapper.

  5. Well ya, go for it.

  6. Only when you truly cannot afford meals that provide needed nutrition. I hope your situation gets better so that you don't have to live off of McDonalds like this. :(
