Is there any electrical problem, such as overheating the AAA battery?

There is at least one mechanical/electrical adapter available to simulate a AA battery using a AAA battery, but my concern is relative to the charger, which typically has both a conditioning and a charging mode. Will the AAA battery overheat or otherwise be damaged by the charger which is really designed for AA batteries?

probably not, since these managed chargers usually are voltage and current regulated.  No guarantees, and if it is a "fast" charger, it's more likely to give you an overheating problem than a standard time charger.

No it woldnt. its made thicker to handle more Power. Not less.

Save 1.5 but they will last longer.
