  1. No. They are Native American, and Asian People are Asian.

  2. The evidence lies in the Haplogroups of modern Native Americans!

At least 3 distinct migrations, originating from the Eastern Siberian region, which could only have crossed into North America from Beringia, can be traced to Native American DNA!

Native Americans may also have traces of DNA, from "other" sources, but the primary source would be Asia!

Whether you want to call it Asian, Mongoloid, Siberian, Chinese, or Pre-Oriental, that's up to you!

  3. Asia is a continent, not a race.  There is evidence that native americans bear similar traits to orientals, sundadonts and sinodonts.  The teeth of sinodonts (means chinese teeth) are shared between new orientals in Northern China, Korea and other places as well as some of the new arrivals into North America such as the Navaho, the Eskimoes, and most South American Indians. DNA evidence confirms this as well.

  4. There is evidence suggesting that they share a common ancestor with Asians, that in the distant past the ancestors of Native Americans came from Asia.

But no, Native Americans are not Asian. They are Native American.
