Is there any film-editing software...?

That can like take a lower quality and edit it to make it look like a great quality picture.

I'm about to go purchase an expensive camcorder that can produce a high quality, almost professional quality picture. My camcorder now can produce a picture, just of lower quality. My friend told me that I shouldn't buy the camcorder and instead to get software that can make the other picture quality better. Is there any film editing software that does this??

The software can do enhancements like colour emphasis or edge sharpness altering, but it can not go back in time and see what the lens saw and enhance the picture, only alter it. If the recording on the film was bad it will stay bad. The best thing you can do is get Adobe Premiere pro 2.0 as it has the best quality enhancement features, but ot too big of a difference really. I've tried to make a really blurry pic look better by sharpening but everything just looks like aliens. Go for the camcorder.

adobe premier pro 2.o if u want advanced editing but for visual effects and basic editing use microsoft film maker... u can download it from www.gadget-freak-me.blogspot.com
