My roommate and I have been thinking about moving to England for various reasons. If there is anyone who has made this transition, why did you and how is it? We are very curious. Thanks!

  1. why leave the greatest country in the world

  2. The guy above is completely wrong. I don't know which rock he lives under, but as a british 17 year old I love americans and apart from the anti american joke here and there, there is no such thing as people wanting to happily burn the american flag.

I just felt i should set the record straight.

  3. stay where u are!!

    england dont want you

  4. Kayz is correct. Brits hate Americans. They would gladly burn the american flag right in front of your face. perhaps you should look into staying in the US, or a country with more class than the brits, like australia.

  5. im not american, im british. But i can tell you its not true all brits hate americans. And as for australians having more class, please. You cant say that, they are descended from the british.Okay here goes, if  you want to move to England, i can suggest a few places. If you like rural areas, then come join us up in Derbyshire, great place, i ve lived here all my life (*saying that im only 15*) and i love it.London is okay but will be expensive and i dont know if you ve noticed in America, but there is a lot of  knife crime there these days.If you enjoy history, why not move to Nottingham, home of Robin Hood? Not far from us in Derbyshire actually and its great for shopping.Again for rural areas, try Yorkshire.Beautiful countryside and is in fact where my grandmother comes from so i can tell you the people are friendly. If you have any more questions on England, heres my email address nicolechamberlain@ymail.com
