  1. The cheapest way to learn German is sponsored by German taxpayers. When you move to Germany as the spouse of a German citizen or somebody already holding German residency permit the Foreigner's Office will ask you to attend an intensive course in German. You pay 1 EUR per lesson as a symbolic fee, the German government pays the rest of the costs.

  2. only hard work will make that possible. german is a very complex lingo. soon as you start learning you will find that out for yourself. it will not be a walk in the park.......wish you all the best, happy learning. remember, blood ,sweat and tears first and then the fruits of labour!

  3. The site Hilmar gave you is great I practice on it too since he gave it to me awhile back.

Still nothing substitutes a real teacher so learn what you can here and when you come to Germany do you best to keep learning and do not be afraid to use what you know. You will not look foolish but rather more appreciated for trying.

  4. Have a look at

    http://www.livemocha.com/

This is a free site to learn languages

you get weitten and oral exercises and you can get tutorials from natives.

  5. Play by King.Com Yatzy its International so you can find german People and stay with them in contact..

German isnt easy to learn but its easier if you stay in Contact with german Persons ;-)

  6. check out Leo dictionary and I think it will help you for many laguage and german one of them. plus it has sound and this the most important, you will hear words
