Most poker sites have freerolls. Tournaments you can enter that cost you no money to play but you can win a little money in the end.

The major drawback to these is they usually only pay top 10 places on average. And they can usually carry up to 12,000 people. And being that its free, alot of people play crazy.

Right now, the best one I've seen for making money is Ultimate Bet (.com). They have freeroll tournaments every hour. Average starting is 3000 people. Top 10 pay money and top 30 give entry to another tournament for free to win $. This site is very slow to start, but easiest. Made money in first 3 days of playing there.

In time, if you save these little ammounts of money you win, you can use it to enter in real money tournaments.

There is a great article by Chris "Jesus" Ferguson through Full Tilt called "0 to 10,000" It is how he went fron zero dollars to ten thousand from nothing but freerolls to start.

My friend is currently using a similar strategy and he's up to $140 + from nothing.

Its very hard and requires a TON of pattience. But it is possible.

What do you mean by free?  Do you mean that you do nothing, and people just give you money?  Because that's obviously not going to happen.

There are ways you can earn money online, but then it's not really free is it.
